Our Story

Our founders Kevin Fleming and Mac Lackey believed the traditional agency model was broken, and that there was a better solution.

With many companies starting to run their digital advertising in-house, our founders wanted to build a new type of agency that could blend the speed and close alignment of an internal team, with the expertise and resources of a digital marketing agency. They also felt structuring deals around performance would fix the skewed incentives created by the percent of spend or flat fee model commonly used by other agencies. 

With that belief, FĒNX Digital was started in February 2019 in Charlotte, NC. Since then, our team has driven millions of dollars in incremental revenue and created long-lasting and mutually beneficial partnerships with brands across a wide array of industries. 

In 2021, we opened an office in Charleston, SC. We look forward to continuing to grow our team, and more importantly, scale the impact we have for our partners. 

We create custom, performance-based deals that align our incentives with those of our partners. We do this because it creates long-lasting and mutually beneficial partnerships, where we can drive results that truly make a difference.
